Faces of Baseballtown Interviews
Interviews with the faces that you see when you come to an R-Phils game

Meet the Tooth Fairy - It’s not everyday that you can watch a baseball game and see some magic. That is unless you’re a Reading Phillies fan. That’s because as a citizen of Baseballtown, it’s possible to see the bases on the field, and the teeth in the stands, receiving a sparkling makeover by the Tooth Fairy.

Recently we tracked down the Tooth Fairy and asked her a few questions...

Which job do you enjoy more, cleaning the bases or taking care of our teeth?
I love everything I do. I enjoy being able to use my giant toothbrush and make sure all the bases are clean as can be. I also love flying all around the world and bringing joy to everyone when they lose their teeth. It’s all so wonderful!

When and why did you start working in Baseballtown?
I was flying back from picking up a tooth in Alabama and I saw that the bases in the stadium were a little dirty. The second baseman went to the base and he couldn’t find it! I flew down to the office, told the R-Phils staff I could help, and I’ve been doing it ever since.

Then you started cleaning the bases with a Jr. Tooth Fairy…How much fun is that?
I love it so very much! To be able to spend that time with all my amazing friends is even better than cleaning the bases! Meeting new people everyday is the best.

So, you fly all over the place, but we want to know, where is the Tooth Fairy really from?
Well, I’m a born and raised Ephrata fairy and I went to Fairy University, which is near Kutztown so that’s why I’m a big R-Phils fan, they are my hometown team!

What did you do while at Fairy U?
I was the head of the Fighting Fairies cheerleading squad and I took Clean Teeth 101 as well as lessons on how to fly.

Not including yourself, what is your favorite R-Phils on-field activity?
I really like everything they do here. I think the Crazy Hot Dog Vendor is always funny. Also it is fun to watch the little kids race the White Star Traveler too…I’m always pulling for the kids to win!

Do you have anything you’d like to say to all your fans before you head out to swap some teeth for money?
As always, I want to make sure everyone is out there eating healthy…not too many sweets! Make sure you brush your teeth twice a day! Besides that, I just want to wish everyone a wonderful day and hope to see you all at a game soon!
